SIGNAL CORPS FOOTAGE

In April 1945, elements of the 113th Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron together with those of the 83rd Infantry Division entered the Germany city of Bernburg.

On this footage dated 17 or 18 April 1945 you will see members of 113th Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron and the 83rd Infantry Division. When they entered the town they found a German hospital with several thousands of wounded German soldiers in it.
